Raised in Tasmania, Damen studied law and then went on to practise in Melbourne, giving him a global perspective and strengthened his bilingual abilities to better serve diverse clients. Transparency is a core value of his practice - legal fees are clear and straightforward.

A lover of sports, especially cricket, he has proudly represented Hong Kong. But as time goes on, his bowling averages have gone up and his batting averages…down. Now he coaches youth players at the Hong Kong Cricket Club, helping usher in the next generation of Hong Kong cricket stars.
